Your Questions About Inner Strength Symbol

Sandy asks…

What 3D item could I use to symbolize courage?

Hey guys, I need some ideas for my book report. We have to choose our character’s inner strength and then make an item that represents it. Any ideas for an item that represents courage?
Thanks:)

This could also be interpreted as a symbol for strength, but I would say something like this:

Helen asks…

Would you give up your life to uphold the dignity of your national flag?

Recently I viewed a story of a man holding on to his country’s national flag until his head was beaten to a pulp by opposing forces. He never let go of the flag until his brains came out and he fell unconscious. I think this man is a martyr and a patriotic symbol for all citizens of any nation to honor and to uphold. I think viewing such stories gives us inner strength and character. What do you think?

Hello,

Like Sean Connery’s character says in the movie, “Man Who Would Be King, in training some Soldiers in 19th century Northern India:
” A soldier must learn to act, fight and die and follow orders without any thought or question! Why? If you took a moment or to to think of who and what the hell you are fighting for back home we you run out and lay down your life as a hero?
NOT BLOODY LIKELY!”

“Quite a few of us” are full of piss and vinegar and may act that way while we are young but as you get older cynicism and disillusionment often creep in and you don’t think such actions are really worth it. This applies to both sides of the conflict. What does a piece of cloth represent now? Paris Hilton to high priced basketball players? Oral sex in the White House?…

Cheers,

Michael Kelly

Donald asks…

What should I get for my first tattoo (indie/girlie) ?

I’m approaching my birthday (3rd of Feb) and have wanted a tattoo for literally like 5 years haha. The only problem is I have no idea what to get. I have 13 piercings so I like the kind of ‘pierced/tattooed look’ but don’t want anything major for my first one. I was thinking either something on my ankle or maybe my wrist? Preferably ankle 🙂
Although I am into this look, I’m also quite girlie at times and I’d describe my style as a whole as quite indie. So what ‘indie’ tattoo designs are out there.
Would like it to be quite personal and pretty and reasonably small.
As I’ve had quite a traumatic childhood with suffering a disease similar to cancer at the age of 14, I was thinking maybe I could have something to do with inner strength and peace, are there any symbols that represent this?
The other idea I had was something floral that maybe spiralled around my ankle and down my foot.
Pictures of designs such as these would be much appreciated 🙂
Thank you

In the tattoo world, the tattoo that represents strength is the black panther.

The black panther is the largest and most ferocious cat of the Americas, pound for pound more fierce and dangerous than: the tiger, the lion or the leopard. The panther is at the pinnacle of the food chain in the Americas. Wherever this feline is found, it’s revered for its strength, valor and power. Also for its maternal gentleness. As a tattoo motif, the panther makes a powerful statement about the person who chooses it, for it is a symbol of courage, strength and personal leadership.

It’s not an ankle piece but looks fabulous on an outer calf. Just make sure the length of the tattoo matches the length of your calf, to make it look its best.

What does ten moons in the sky mean in a dream?

In a recent dream I had there were ten moons in the sky, it was still daylight. My whole family was there we were on a huge picnic. I felt very uneasy then saw a bright light from the sky looked up to see three bright balls flying towards us. I embraced my husband and five daughters and waited for impact, just knowing that this was the end. I woke up still feeling uneasy after a dream like that. Any suggestions as to what this might be about?

This is what the dream dictionary says about the moon:

Moon
Tosee the moon in your your dream, represents some hidden, mysterious aspect of yourself. It is often associated with the feminine mystique and intuition. Alternatively, the moon signifies your changing moods.

To see the eclipse of the moon in your dream, signifies that your feminine side is being overshadowed.

To see the crescent moon in your dream, indicates cyclic changes, renewal, and movement. You are progressing smoothly toward your life path. A full moon signifies completion, while a new moon symbolizes new beginnings.

A picnic means: Picnic
To dream that you are at a picnic, signifies a joyful and tranquil domestic life. You prefer the simpler things in life.

To see a picnic basket in your dream, indicates an opportunity to learn and share your ideas and opinions

The number ten: Ten
Ten corresponds to closure, great strength, and gains. It also symbolizes the law and can refer to the ten commandments.

Meteors: Meteor
To see a meteor in your dream, suggests that you will experience success in a project. You are on your way toward realizing your goals and desires. Alternatively, it represents wishful thinking and your idealistic thoughts.

To see a meteor shower in your dream, signifies romantic thoughtsand idealistic notions

Three
Three signifies life, vitality, inner strength, completion, imagination, creativity, energy, and self-exploration. Three stands for trilogy as in the past, present, and future or father, mother, and child, etc.

So, an idea that you could get from these symbols is that although you like your peaceful family life, you feel of many moods, and perhaps you have inspirations and ideas that are not being fulfilled…or perhaps your romantic life is being overshadowed by your family responsibilities.
