Your Questions About Symbols For Family Tattoo Ideas

want a tattoo on my ankle/foot, pain rating, were & any ideas on a symbol?

i want a tattoo of my granddad’s initials in nice writing on my ankle/foot but need help on:
-The font, so please can someone give me suggestions or a link to a site
-Where’s best to have it, as well as the pain rating for the spots (i was going to get it on my wrist but ankle/foot is better when it comes to jobs)
-I would also like to have some form of a symbol for him/our relationship as he’s like my whole family but i have no idea what it could be

need some ideas for symbolism in a tattoo?

so ever since i saw that guy get his parents tattoo him on whatever show that was i was very interested in getting something my parents wrote or had drawn on me. but since they have totally shot down the idea of getting anything they have written put on me i need a new idea…just get them to draw something (without them knowing what its for) that symbolizes something to do with family

i just need a few symbols to help me finish my idea at the moment.

i was going to have my sister draw a smiley face to represent happiness

my mom to draw a heart to show compassion and love

and i need one more symbol to have my dad draw…THIS IS WHERE I NEED HELP

something simple but can represent a strong meaning

any idea is helpful…please and thank you!!

Anyone Have (meaningful) Tattoo Ideas?

So I’ve always gone through tough times in my life, I’ve always been kind of the loner that no one cares about. I also go through family problems at home and I cut myself countless times. I’m also suicidal and I’ve been thinking of some kind of tattoo that I could get that only I would really know the meaning of, but it wouldnt be something that wouldn’t make any sense to other people. So I want a good appearance to others, but also a meaning to me. I think the tattoo would be a way to remind myself what I’ve been through and how I’ve already made it through that; so maybe I can resist the urge to cut or try to pull my self out of suicidal thoughts. I was thinking some kind of quote or a cool symbol, maybe something in another language?

*****Please dont comment saying something calling me emo(i have nothing against emo people, because I and many people I know are) and dont hate me for saying that I cut and I’m suicidal. We all deal with things different ways and I just happen to deal with mine like this. So dont give me crap about it!******

Could you help me with tattoo ideas?

So i am canadian, welsh, scot, and native.
Mostly canadian. I was born here and so were my parents. But my grandparents their parents and grandparents were either from scotland and wales and england maybe? All i know is i look very white. And i have an english (u.k) lastname.

Of course i will ask my family to make sure what i am before i get any tattoos to do with my ethnicity but i’d like to ask your opinion on what i could get.
I’m thinking of a maple leaf to stand for canada. And maybe a symbol of wales or scotland? Or maybe just an overall english (u.k) symbol?
Is there anything cool? Not just a flower..although that may be nice because the Quebec fleur-de-lis are nice. (Pardon my bad spelling) and i grew up in quebec and ontario both… Which ive loved and am going to move back to qu. So i may get that flower incorporated somehow…

So yea….any help would be greatly appreciated!

Also, you could suggest a design ..like if i choose to get all flowers from each country/province etc …maybe i’ll get them on a vine around my ankle?

im getting a tattoo of my brothers initialls,what would be a good place for them?

Their inittials are JJW (James joseph wilson) and SWW (scott william wilson, Should I just do JW and SW ? and where should I get them at?it cant be a place too noticible because of my job,but they are my brothers so I dont want them in some trampy spot either!lol, and should I get a quote or some kind of symbol that represents family?Any ideas or advice would be great!thanks 🙂
