<p>The rear deltoids are often the most neglected head of the shoulder muscle.  For one, not many people work their retail toy properly.Try not to avoid this muscle group simply because the exercises can be more difficult because in the end they will lead to better rear deltoids development.</p>

<p>However, if a person was to include additional rear dumbbell raises to work the rear deltoids they would see a massive improvement in overall shoulder development.</p>

<p>I would even go as far as to recommend starting off your eyes elation portion of your workouts with rear dumbbell raises first.</p>

<p>You will be weakest in your rear deltoids therefore it is important to use a weight that allows you to use strict form and ensure that you feel the muscle working properly.</p>

<p>Do not use momentum or swing the weights as this will take the tension off of the rear deltoids.Always use a weight that you can handle and be sure to aim for your target rep-range using good form and with proper progression.</p>

Most people want to build up their muscle when they work out, the following are a few tips I have learned over the years that help me gain muscle when I need to.  </p>
<p><b>1) Muscle fatigue &#8211; High reps </b> </p>
<p>You would be surprised how many people get this wrong.  If you want to see some quick muscle gains then lifting low reps is no good for you.  It is beneficial to incorporate low rep training in your muscle building strategy, but it should be used as an accessory to high rep, high volume training. If you want to build up quickly then you should be lifting weights where you can only do about 6-14 reps before you cannot do anymore, you may think you look weak when doing it, but it is the best approach.  </p>
<p><b>2) Low Rest Time  </b></p>
<p>You are working toward fatiguing the muscles with 6 &#8211; 15 reps, when your training is geared toward gaining muscle. Extended breaks between sets allows you to lift heavier weight, but the rest keeps your muscles from feeling adequately fatigued. When you are serious about putting on muscle mass, every set should feel a lot harder than the first.  The real aim is to feel weak at the end of a set, this is how you know you are heading in the right direction.  </p>

<p>Individuals can be consuming an insufficient amount of calories and still build muscle, according to a number of studies. You cannot overeat and expect to gain muscle.  You should be following a diet designed for losing body fat, when you are working on a muscle building regimen. You want to train until your muscles are fatigued enough times that the body is forced to react and grow your muscles.  This is the way you make your muscles grow.  It is important to get enough food so that your body functions well, but no need to eat in calorie excess. </p>
