<p> It is worthwhile to dedicate a little time every day to your <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" target="_blank" title="mantra meditation" href="http://www.mantrameditation.net/">mantra meditation</a> practice if you can.  Even if it is only five to ten minutes, little practice daily is much better than a one hour stint here or there.  One of the reasons for this is because you are creating new neural patterns in your brain and a daily practice strengthens this.</p>
<p>  It is also much better to build up your practice by first starting with only a small amount of time.  Its just like working out in the gym in this respect and working on repetitions with weights.  Try starting with a five minute practice a day for a week, then build up to ten minutes a day once you feel comfortable and increase in small increments.</p>
<p> By doing this you won’t burn yourself out.  It is also a much more pleasurable experience to start of small and not overload yourself so you are always looking forward to the next session.</p>
<p> When you do your practice is the next thing to consider.  Meditating at the same time each day is by far the best approach.This will help with the reinforcing of when you need to practice.</p>

<p>Whether it&#8217;s because the calorie burning advantages aren&#8217;t recognized, we think weight training is to build muscle and not burn fat, we think we can&#8217;t focus on lifting and losing fat at the same time, we don&#8217;t know how to do an efficient weight training program, or whatever the reason, somehow we tend to put the weights back on the rack when we want to focus on losing fat.</p>
<p><strong>Must have strength training</strong></p>
<p>Too many people try to lose fat without going on a properly designed strength training program. The problem is that when you try to lose fat by eating less, the body responds by losing weight. Strength training makes sure that the weight that you lose will be ugly unwanted fat, rather than your beautiful, firm muscle.</p>
<p>A personal trainer will help you design a strength training program that not only preserves your muscle but also help you burn calories 24 hours a day, every day. This will be a far superior program to jogging, or swimming.</p>

<p>Habit formation is developed by the correct mindset. That mindset is not &#8220;oh poor me I can&#8217;t eat cake or else I&#8217;ll balloon up again&#8221; the correct mindset is &#8220;I don&#8217;t eat cake often because I am a fit, lean, healthy person it is simply not what I do!&#8221;</p>
<p>What also helps is a healthy community. Stick around people who also have similar fitness goals as you do and you are far more likely to keep your habits and thus your fat loss results.</p>
