It’s certainly not the first time people have claimed Romney has a problem with black audiences. Race-baiters pounced almost immediately when the speech was announced last month. But as The Message’s video revives the attacks, people are asking not what the message is, but who.

The producers of the video include former Media Matters for America president Eric Burns, former New York Times writer Andrew Zipern and Cliff Chenfeld of Razor & Tie Entertainment. In short, a group of white progressives has decided to call out not only the “extreme whiteness” of Romney but also prejudge the NAACP’s reception.
