‘Frightening’: Draft of Obamacare eligibility questions is 61 pages long

http://twitter.com/#!/jamiedupree/status/311874724584108032

Today the Department of Health and Human Services released drafts of two Obamacare-related documents: (1) the application for health insurance coverage and (2) the list of questions used to determine whether online applicants are eligible for subsidized coverage.

The application itself is only 21 pages long. A trifle.

By contrast, the list of questions used to decide whether online applicants are eligible for subsidized coverage is 61 pages.

Ironically, the latter document includes the following disclaimer at the bottom of every page:

Single Streamlined Application for the Health Insurance Marketplace: Items in Online Application for Comment –Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) Appendix A

So this is the Obama Administration’s idea of a “streamlined” document, developed in compliance with the Paperwork Reduction Act.

@jamiedupreeNot only is the frm burdensome it is very invasive. Gov’t is seeking more and more personal information. Cphone,email

So many snort-worthy lines in draft HHS insurance app form. Like this one: “Your information is private” ==> media.cmgdigital.com/shared/news/do…

@jamiedupree frightening!

Indeed. If the Obamacare application is this long and burdensome, just imagine how long you will soon have to wait to see your doctor.
