John asks…

How many songs should I put on my workout playlist?

I am going to work out for 40-50 minutes and I want enough songs that I don’t have to repeat any and to keep me pumped. I’ve always heard the average song is three minutes…but that’s not always the case, some songs are shorter and others a little longer.

More or less how many songs should I aim for if I am working out for 50 or 60 minutes?

Thank you!

admin answers:

Create a new playlist on iTunes. On the bottom border of iTunes (in the center) it will show how long the playlist is. And it’s always better to overestimate and make a playlist a little longer than you need.
